Eye of the Tiger

Were we really questioning Tiger Woods? Even with everything that has happened to him over the past few months, his competitiveness still continues to shine through. Golf is what Tiger needed. Forget "rehab", Tiger's entire life has been submerged in the game. His decision to come back for the Masters shocked almost everyone who follows sports, but I think it was the perfect choice. Tiger gave himself a little time to shore up his game to be competitive in the the most celebrated tournament golf has ever seen.

The expectations of the reception Tiger would receive on his arrival to the first tee were mixed. Some people expected a fee scattered boo's throughout the gallery, but as Tiger walked to the first tee, all one could hear were cheers and claps. The warm reception showed the world just how much the game of golf missed it's greatest player.

He blistered his first tee shot right down the fairway, and with a spin of the club, everyone knew Tiger was back.

So here we are on Sunday of the Masters with a familiar story line, Tiger Woods in striking distance of another Green Jacket. Nobody should be surprised, this is what he lives for. Forget all of his mistakes on this great Sunday and just watch, because we are watching the greatest golfer to ever walk the links, and there may be another chapter to be told in his story book career.
